Job Details
Title:- Sr. GIS Consultant
Location:- Sacramento, CA 95814 (2 Days onsite)
Duration: 24+ Months
Senior-level experience in backend development and administration of ESRI Enterprise (ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store).
- Strong expertise in managing and optimizing enterprise geodatabases (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with backend automation, scripting, and administration using Python, ArcPy, and REST APIs.
- Skilled in configuring and maintaining feature services, map services, and image services.
- Experience integrating GIS with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills for backend GIS infrastructure.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, security, and scalability best practices.
- Experience supporting migration, upgrades, and patching of ESRI platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with system administrators, DBAs, and GIS analysts.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience managing IT projects for government clients.
- Senior-level expertise in architecting and implementing enterprise GIS infrastructure and applications.
- Strong background using enterprise architecture tools.
- Demonstrated ability and expertise in GIS applications and GIS Architectures.
- Perform gap analyses between current and target states and develop application roadmap documents.
- Experience conducting application and business analysis for large, complex systems.
