responsibilities:

This team's core purpose is to ensure compliance with the CMS-0057 Final Rule by designing, building, and implementing the payer-to-payer APIs. The team's work will help the organization meet federal goals for interoperability, transparency, and improved patient outcomes by making health data more accessible to members, providers, and payers.

Typical Day in the Role


Spends ~40-60% of time on hands-on development - typically building core frameworks, reusable modules, or proof-of-concept work.


Provides architectural guidance and defines reusable code patterns for the team.


Reviews and merges complex PRs, ensuring technical consistency.


Coordinates dependencies, manages technical risks, and ensures sprint delivery aligns with roadmap goals.


Leads design discussions, retrospectives, and stakeholder demos.


All committed/assigned stories in the sprint should be delivered


Education/Certification Required: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 5 - 7 years of related experience. Preferred: n/a
