Job Title: DevOps Software Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the Advanced Simulation project. This role involves developing, testing, documenting, and integrating simulation products using C++ and C# on Windows operating systems.
This role does require you to have an active government security clearance. Please ONLY apply if you have this.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the Advanced Simulation project. This role involves developing, testing, documenting, and integrating simulation products using C++ and C# on Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and management.
- Monitor system performance to ensure reliability and availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure security best practices and compliance requirements are met.
- Maintain and enhance configuration management tools.
- Design and develop software to model missile and air defense capabilities.
- Assist in the development of simulation and software architectures.
- Lead development of an agile software feature team within a larger team context.
- Interface with customers and present technical briefings to stakeholders.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with no experience required.
- OR 5 years of related experience for Principal DevOps Software Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline, OR 3 years with a Master's degree, or 1 year with a PhD.
- 2 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins- Currently using Bamboo but migrating to Jenkins experience with both would be nice to have
- 2+ years of experience in scripting languages such as Powershell, Bash, or Windows command shell- experience with all 3 would be great since they use them all but not required
- 2+ years of experience developing software in object-oriented programming languages such as C, C++, or .Net
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
