Job Details

Hire Technology is seeking a highly skilled and assertive Workday Security Project Lead to support a remote, 6-month engagement. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in functional Workday security, demonstrate sound decision-making under pressure, and provide leadership in a fast-paced, post-production environment. This is a critical role that will focus on remediation, governance, and best practices to ensure data security and compliance across a global Workday implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead post-production support focused on evaluating and remediating Workday security configurations and controls.

  • Implement process improvements to reduce risk and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to Workday HR security.

  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on security best practices within Workday.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns across a global Workday environment.

  • Rapidly assess security risks and develop actionable remediation plans.

  • Communicate assertively to highlight and resolve security issues, ensuring the continued integrity of Workday security architecture.

Requirements:
  • 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience with Workday security, including role-based access and domain security policies.

  • Workday Security certification is required.

  • Proven ability to manage and resolve functional Workday security issues.

  • Prior experience working in a global Workday implementation is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions quickly and effectively in a high-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and strategic mindset.
