About the role:

Provide financial and accounting technical knowledge and execution with Global Business Services and financial departments in one or more of the following areas: accounts payable, payments, invoice reconciliation and general ledger maintenance. Additionally, provide key communications to important stakeholders to support business processes.

Your Responsibilities include:
  • Fulfill internal control requirements within the financial area, as well as comply with international SOX requirements.
  • Create and update DTPs/SOPs, flowcharts, etc.
  • Participate in several projects, including process improvements, process migrations, cross-training and systems testing.
  • Take ownership of Sensitive Accounts Payable processes and support other departmental needs, such as Quality Control.
  • Contribute positively to fostering a caring and collaborative environment.
  • Any other department-related activities (low to medium complexity).

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • English level: B2.
  • Capability of analyzing basic to complex scenarios and taking decisions based on the data provided.
  • Adaptability towards a culture focused on customer service, delivering excellence, continuous improvement and performance metrics.
  • Strong integrity and accountability.
  • Respectful towards others, collaboration and team-focused mentality.
  • Analytical thinking with high attention to details and quality of work.
  • Active interest in seeking opportunities to improve efficiency of work.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in shared services environment and/or Accounts Payable departments.
  • Experience with Sensitive Accounts Payable processes.
  • Ability to ask questions and challenge the status quo to seek improvements in processes.
  • Experience using SAP (ECC and S4 preferred).
  • Basic Portuguese level.
