Title: Software Engineer II

Job Location: One M&T Plaza, Buffalo, NY 14203

Job Description: Develop progressive strategies for managing initiatives and driving them to enhance business impact by integrating best practices and tools in information technology. Direct technological research by evaluating different strategies for Operational Effectiveness, incorporating IT Technologies to support the development of long-term organizational strategies. Lead the delivery of advanced IT projects and solutions that process Big Data while improving quality and statistical efficiency. Manage the deployment of critical business applications to obfuscate sensitive information, identifying and mitigating cyber threats in enterprise architectures while following security compliances and architectural standards. Evaluate organizational risks to develop data-driven policies and incorporate Unit Test case scenarios for optimizing IT solutions while ensuring security and efficiency. Analyze business requirements and manage the development of IT applications to align with system functionality while contributing to organizational policy. Design Enterprise AML/Fraud Detection solutions and manage performance to provide a robust Enterprise Solution. Assess the effectiveness of existing PL/SQL functions and incorporate Data Science technologies along with strategic solutions to efficiently query databases. Manage data quality and integrity across multiple environments and build pipelines for automated data management. Assist with design, coding, testing, configuration, debugging, troubleshooting issues, and documentation of new or modified software applications to meet business requirements and enterprise performance, security compliance, and architecture standards in the area of efforts to combat money laundering operations.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Application or a related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Developer, Database Administrator or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: database development & administration on Oracle 12c/19c; PL/SQL; ODBC; and Oracle OEM. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: SnowFlake; Data migration strategies, Microsoft SQL Server; and DB2.

Salary: $143,666.00 - $145,475.00
