Description
The Asset Information Mapping AIM division of Collaboration Analytics and Innovation CAI is working on several geospatial oriented projects that include analysis design development and implementation activities. To deliver on these projects Business / System Analyst services are required.
The Business Analyst must be familiar with geospatial technologies and be able to analyze business requirements to produce detailed requirements specifications design documentation and test plans for:
- GIS / CAD data maintenance modernization and consolidation processes
- Creation of CAD drawing in AutoCAD/MicroStation and automation of block profiles
- Bentley ProjectWise ESRI products
The work will be carried out on-site 5-days per week for the first 3-months, then hybrid 2-3 days on site per week for the rest of the 2-year contract
Essential Skills
1. Minimum five (5) years' experience within the last 3 years working in the role of a Business/System Analyst;
2. Minimum five (5) years' experience within the last 3 years working in gathering and analyzing business requirements to produce detailed specifications for a development team;
3. Minimum five (5) years' experience within the last 3 years working in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
4. Minimum five (5) years' experience within the last 3 years working in current and future state process mapping;
5. Minimum five (5) years' experience within the last 3 years working in analyzing and designing geospatial technology (i.e., CAD, GIS, FME) solutions;
6. Minimum five (5) years' experience within the last 3 years working with Bentley ProjectWise & ERSI products;.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1. Demonstrated aptitude to work autonomously, make decisions daily with little supervision, and assume ownership over work assigned;
2. The ability to mentor technical and functional resources;
3. Strong customer service skills;
4. Demonstrated business knowledge in a wide range of business functions related to municipal government or other large organizations;
5. Demonstrated project management, planning, reporting and estimating experience.
6. Minimum five (5) years' experience within the last 3 years working with verbal and written communication methods to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
