Job Details

Role Summary:

Client is seeking a seasoned Automation Quality Assurance professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in QTP/UFT, Selenium Automation testing. The role involves leading a QA team across onsite and offshore locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system, integration, and regression testing, with a focus on Guidewire Policy Center applications.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead a QA team across onsite and offshore locations.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using QTP/UFT, Selenium for Guidewire and Portal applications.
  • Execute automated test cases, assess outcomes, and document test results.
  • Analyze system specifications to extract test requirements and develop comprehensive Test Cases/Scripts.
  • Partner with QA engineers to formulate and implement an effective automation strategy.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and errors, communicating them to the Development teams.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to promote Quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Act as single point of contact for all testing for the initiative and facilitate testing efforts for releases across multiple applications.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Prior experience leading a team.
  • Proficient in QTP/UFT, Selenium Automation with a proven track record as an expert in the UFT Automation tool.
  • Familiarity with a variety of automation frameworks, including Hybrid and Keyword-driven approaches.
  • Proficient in VB Scripting.
  • Experience in automating interactions with third-party applications, tools, and interfaces, especially those integrated with SAP and web portals.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) is highly desirable.
  • Specific Quality Assurance experience with Guidewire solutions in the P&C Policy lifecycle is essential.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
