Workday Test Lead Specialist - Remote
Location: Remote (U.S. based)
Assignment Type: Contract
Compensation: $55-65/hr (
Work Authorization: Open to W2 candidates through one layer of sub-vendor sponsorship
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Workday Test Lead to drive testing initiatives for a large-scale Workday Financials implementation. This is a high-impact role requiring deep expertise in Workday testing, integrations, and security, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in the mortgage or financial services industry.

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Workday Test Lead to drive testing initiatives for a large-scale Workday Financials implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Workday testing projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for Workday implementations and updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate integration and module functionality
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Mentor junior testers and provide leadership across testing efforts
- Deliver and maintain automated test suites using Kainos Smart Test and Smartshield
- Partner with Kainos teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes
- 10+ years of experience leading testing initiatives in large-scale organizations
- Proven leadership in Workday testing, especially with Workday Financials
- Strong understanding of Workday Integrations and Security
- Experience with automated testing tools, especially Kainos Smart Test
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Workday Financials certification
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
