Air Liquide Americas UX/UR Chapter is driving the Airgas CX transformation while contributing to Air Liquide s global AI transformation. As one of the largest U.S. suppliers of industrial gases and safety products, we are committed to delivering exceptional digital experiences for our customers and associates.
We are seeking an Associate User Researcher to provide tactical, hands-on support for research activities that inform the design and delivery of digital products. This role is a unique opportunity to shape customer and associate experiences across eCommerce, point-of-sale, onboarding, and internal tools.
Working closely with the Lead User Researcher and Contract User Researcher, you will focus on planning, organizing, and executing studies that deliver timely, actionable insights to product and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day research activities in collaboration with lead researchers.
- Assist with participant recruitment, scheduling sessions, and preparing research materials.
- Capture detailed notes and observations during interviews, usability tests, and workshops.
- Compile, tag, and organize raw data for analysis and reporting, maintaining a research repository that enables future AI-driven insights.
- Contribute to research documentation, journey maps, and persona updates.
- Execute quick-turn usability tests, surveys, and other tactical research activities.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, accessibility, and ethics standards in all research activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 0 2 years in UX research, research operations, or related fields (academic projects or internships welcome).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with basic research methods (qualitative & quantitative), including usability testing, surveys, and interviews.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working with researchers, designers, and product teams in a hybrid/remote setup.
- Tools: Proficiency in Google Meet, Miro, Excel/Sheets; exposure to UserTesting or Dovetail a plus.
- Mindset: Eager to learn, grow, and build a career in user research.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
