Job Details

Role: Infrastructure Operations Onboarding Engineer

Type: Contract to Hire

100% REMOTE

Technical Skill Set: The ideal candidate should experience with understanding and monitoring a wide range of data center devices, scripting for device management, including troubleshooting connectivity issues (e.g., SNMP credentials, firewalls, SNMP v2/v3) and being self-sufficient in resolving problems.

Must Have Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience and credentials.
  • 3+ years of experience working within client-facing or consulting capacities within the MSP Managed Services Provider, IT service providers, or consulting of IT services.
  • 8+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise-level Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure support services dealing with DNS, DHCP Active Directory, and certificate-based authentication
  • At least 3+ years of experience working with system performance and monitoring platforms such as LogicMonitor, Elastic, SolarWinds, ElastiFlow, ServiceNow (ITOM, MID Server), or BeyondTrust.
  • Comfortable communicating with stakeholders via email, calls, or face-to-face interactions, along with strong experience in creating technical documentation.

Preferred Experience:

  • Competency in Linux system administration is preferred.
  • Prior experience working within AWS or Azure Cloud Services a plus
