Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Jackson, MS

Duration: 5 Years contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to lead and optimize our organizational operations. The ideal candidate will oversee systems, processes, and procedures that ensure efficiency, quality, and excellent customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for streamlining workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to improve productivity across teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and continuously improve operational systems, processes, and infrastructure.
  • Participate in long-term strategic planning, project reporting, and change management.
  • Lead data collection and analysis to meet performance metrics and enhance decision-making.
  • Conduct objective testing and data validation to support insights and recommendations.
  • Identify and remove workflow bottlenecks, troubleshoot barriers, and drive process efficiency.
  • Monitor and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance indicators and KPIs.
  • Measure and analyze progress toward critical operational goals and implement course corrections.
  • Lead, support, and mentor team members in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure operational, compliance, and administrative excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct budget reviews and present cost strategies to senior leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, public administration, engineering, information systems, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of success in an operations management role.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes and meet customer satisfaction goals.
  • Experience developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Capable of navigating high-pressure situations with composure and strategic thinking.
  • Skilled in budget planning and financial oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of government assistance programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar platforms.
