Title: Marketing Research Specialist
Duration: 12 months
Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA (Hybrid - Required onsite 2-3 times per week)

Position Summary
This role will support Client's US Portfolio by planning and executing primary market research while collaborating closely with the research team across primary, secondary, and syndicated market research. The Marketing Research Specialist will inform brand strategy and tactics, synthesize research insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market research for the portfolio, including timeline and budget management

  • Communicate and align with internal stakeholders and external agencies on research objectives and execution

  • Manage all aspects of primary market research, ensuring high-quality deliverables

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business challenges, propose appropriate research methods, and incorporate team input

  • Apply best practices and innovative techniques to generate actionable insights

  • Synthesize results into coherent stories with key findings and recommended actions

  • Engage stakeholders in discussions on research outcomes to positively impact business decisions

  • Work with research and analytics team members to design complex analyses using secondary data, syndicated reports, and databases, integrating findings into primary research efforts

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: BA/BS in Marketing, Marketing Research, Psychology, Data Science, or related field

  • Preferred: Master's in Business, Marketing Research, or related field (MBA/MA/MS/MMR)

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of market research experience on client or supplier side, or related functions including Sales, Marketing, Marketing/Sales Operations

  • Knowledge of the US healthcare environment and ability to learn quickly about different therapy areas

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to relate business issues to market research insights

  • Knowledge of market research methods and secondary data sources

  • Collaboration/teamwork orientation with experience leading market research execution

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Health Care Consumer and Health Care Practitioner research

  • Experience with Buy and Bill products is a plus

Desired Capabilities:

  • Leverage understanding of market research to synthesize insights and influence marketing strategy

  • Partner collaboratively with research leads, analytics colleagues, and franchise clients

  • Manage market research to guide business decisions and proactively identify growth opportunities

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and seek collaboration when needed

  • Experience with various research methodologies to fit business needs
