Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in the SAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) to design and develop scalable, enterprise-grade applications in SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments. You will work closely with functional teams, architects, UI developers to deliver end-to-end solutions using CDS views, OData services, and Fiori Elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using RAP and ABAP for SAP S/4HANA and/or BTP
- Create and enhance CDS views, behavior definitions, and implementations
- Develop and expose OData V4 services using service definitions and bindings
- Collaborate with SAP Fiori/UI5 developers to deliver responsive, modern UIs
- Implement business logic including validations, determinations, actions, and draft handling
- Ensure clean, maintainable, and upgrade-safe ABAP code following best practices
- Perform unit testing and assist with integration and UAT
- Work with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Document technical specifications and provide support during go-live and post-go-live phases
Required
- 10+ years hands-on ABAP programming in S/4HANA
- Proven exp. SAP RAP, CDS, OData V4, Fiori Elements
- Hands-on with behavior definitions, behavior implementations, and service bindings
- Experience RESTful architecture, draft-enabled apps, and metadata extensions
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Cloud Foundry (preferred)
- Experienced in Git, CI/CD pipelines, Eclipse/ADT for ABAP development
- Bachelor's Computer Science
- SAP certifications in ABAP for SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Application Programming, or Fiori Development
- Experience with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Experience Steampunk (ABAP Cloud)
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA extensibility concepts
