Sr. RA/Scientist Research & Nonclinical Development (RNCD)

Client is seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Research Associate/ Scientist to join our ophthalmology and neuroscience research teams. This role focuses on advancing discovery of novel therapies for ocular and neurological diseases by targeting the complement cascade and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MS with 2+ years or BS with 5+ years in biochemistry, pharmacology, or related life sciences.
  • Familiarity with molecular biology/biochemistry techniques (qPCR, Western blot, ELISA) preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with iPSC-derived cells, co-cultures, immunocytochemistry, and high-content imaging/confocal microscopy.
  • Establish and maintain iPSC-derived mono-, co-, and tricultures for ocular and neurology models.
  • Conduct in vitro pharmacology studies using immunocytochemistry, microscopy, RT-qPCR, and ligand binding assays.
