Job Title: Playwright Automation Engineer

Location: 100% Remote role (Someone from Dallas, TX will be great)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description:

  • Solid experience with Playwright for web application test automation.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript or Python.
  • Understanding of web application architecture, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with CICD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (primarily with TypeScript JavaScript or Python) for web applications.

Create and implement scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks.

Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests. Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.

Testing and Analysis Execute automated tests and analyze results, identifying and reporting defects.

Perform root cause analysis of failed tests and assist in debugging.

Contribute to test strategy and best practices.

Collaboration and Integration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product managers) to define test automation strategies and requirements.

Integrate automated tests into CICD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings.

Maintenance and Improvement.

Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test suites.

Optimize test execution for speed, reliability, and coverage.

Contribute documentation of test cases, automation processes, and troubleshooting guides.
