Job Title: Oracle OTL Cloud Consultant

Location: Remote / Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: Contract

 

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Oracle OTL (Time and Labor) Cloud Consultant with real implementation experience. This role is not for functional generalists. The consultant must have deep, practical knowledge of Oracle Time and Labor Cloud, including configuration, rules setup, integrations, and payroll dependency handling.

If the candidate has only theoretical HCM exposure or payroll-only experience, they will not fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) Cloud
  • Configure time entry layouts, time categories, time rules, and calculation rules
  • Design and implement overtime, rounding, shift differentials, and compliance rules
  • Configure approval workflows and manager self-service processes
  • Integrate OTL with:
  • Oracle Payroll Cloud
  • Absence Management
  • Workforce Costing / GL
  • Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and production cutover
  • Troubleshoot time calculation errors and payroll mismatches
  • Work directly with HR, Payroll, and Business stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Provide post-go-live support and enhancements

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of Oracle HCM experience, with strong focus on OTL Cloud
  • Proven experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud implementations
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Time entry profiles
  • Time rules & rule templates
  • Payroll integration points
  • Labor costing
  • Experience handling complex workforce scenarios (shift workers, union rules, overtime laws)
  • Strong functional documentation and client-facing communication skills

Nice to Have (Strong Advantage)

  • Oracle Payroll Cloud experience
  • Absence Management Cloud experience
  • Experience with global time and labor compliance
  • Oracle certification in HCM / OTL
