The Senior Manager, Data Visualization & Analytics plays a key role in developing and delivering comprehensive reporting solutions, interactive dashboards, and advanced data visualization capabilities for an organization. This position is responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring that accurate, reliable, and actionable insights are readily available across various business units. The Senior Manager collaborates closely with data engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and analytics teams to build scalable and user-friendly reporting tools that align with modern data platforms and evolving organizational needs.
This is a full time, permanent position offering benefits as a full time employee.

responsibilities:
Analytics Strategy and Delivery
- Formulate and execute the strategy for enterprise-wide analytics, visualization, and self-service reporting, in alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and analytical products that provide clear, impactful insights.
- Empower business users to effortlessly access and interpret data through intuitive and scalable visualization tools.
- Work with relevant business area owners to define, curate, and maintain consistent KPIs, metrics, and data definitions.
Technology and Platform Enablement
- Drive the adoption and optimization of enterprise analytics platforms, including existing tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Partner with the data platform team to seamlessly integrate semantic layers, data products, and governed data sources into the analytics ecosystem.
- Provide support for the transition and evolution of visualization platforms as required, ensuring minimal disruption and maximizing business value.
- Establish and champion best practices for dashboard performance, data security, and governance.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Oversee and mentor a team of analytics developers, visualization specialists, and reporting analysts.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and strong collaboration among technical and business teams.
- Engage closely with business partners, product owners, and data engineers to ensure that analytics solutions meet dynamic business requirements.
- Facilitate training, onboarding, and development programs to enhance enterprise data literacy and promote self-service capabilities.
Governance and Quality
- Establish and uphold rigorous standards for report development, dashboard design, data validation, and source certification.
- Collaborate with governance, security, and compliance teams to ensure that all analytics outputs adhere to corporate and regulatory standards.
- Promote uniformity in reporting and visualization approaches across diverse business units and geographical regions.

Education & Certifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is essential, ideally in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or other analytics tools are beneficial.
Professional Experience:
- Requires 8 to 12 years of professional experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization functions.
- Includes 3 to 5 years of leadership experience managing teams dedicated to reporting, dashboard creation, and analytical solution development.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-scale reporting infrastructures, with a preference for those built on cloud-native data platforms.
- Previous experience within the retail, consumer products, or similar sectors is a preference but not a mandatory requirement.
