SAP FICO/FICA Austin, TX 12+ Months Longterm Contract

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and design robust SAP FICO/FICA solutions
Configure SAP FI/CO and FICA modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Revenue Management
Perform system integrations with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, CRM, IS-U)
Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes
Manage the full lifecycle of SAP FICO/FICA projects from blueprinting and configuration to testing, training, and support
Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams
Prepare functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, and interfaces
Provide end-user training and support documentation
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Troubleshoot system issues and recommend process improvements

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO and/or FICA
Strong knowledge of financial business processes and integration with other SAP modules
Experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations
Expertise in contract accounting processes (FICA), including sub-ledger accounting, dunning, collections, and integration with main ledger
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:
SAP certification in FICO or FICA
Utilities or telecom industry experience (if relevant to your sector)
Working knowledge of SAP BRIM, Revenue Accounting, or SAP Convergent Charging/Billing
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
