Job title - Contracts Manager / Housing Supervisor
Location - Brooklyn, NY (Onsite)
Job Description

The Contract Manager will assist with various duties related to Brooklyn Client Services operations including, but not limited to the following:

  • Supervise Complaint Specialists and assign cases.
  • Ensure compliance with program rules and regulations
    Recruitment, evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate with applicants, tenants, landlords and outside agencies.
  • Report system issues and suggest enhancements.
  • Gather and evaluate information to resolve issues and complaints.
  • Disposition of reasonable accommodation requests.
  • Create, and process payment adjustments.
  • Handles sensitive documents with deference.
  • Answer and track hotline calls.

Skill Desired:

  • Minimum 1-year supervisory experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program and related compliance functions including the Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") rules and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret policies and guidelines and make sound decisions; prepare clear concise reports and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demands; analyze situations, identify problems, and offer solutions.
