Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Compensation: $55.00-$69.00/hr

Skillset / Experience: Mobile Software Engineer

We re seeking a skilled Mobile Software Engineer to support the development of next-generation applications that enable new experiences through advanced media capture and AI-powered features. This role will work on a high-visibility product suite involving smart glasses and AI-first consumer devices, collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware, UX, and AI research.

Required Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain native Android and/or iOS apps that integrate seamlessly with wearable smart devices

  • Develop robust APIs/services for syncing data between mobile platforms and hardware

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and build new features

  • Optimize app performance, scalability, and battery efficiency

  • Write clean, maintainable code with thorough documentation and test coverage

  • Conduct rigorous debugging and cross-platform testing

  • Prioritize UX, performance, and code maintainability in all development efforts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science or related field

  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Swift, or Objective-C

  • Experience integrating mobile applications with hardware (e.g., Bluetooth, sensors)

  • Familiarity with Python and C++ for hardware/software integration

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AR/VR platforms (ARKit, ARCore, Unity)

  • Background in integrating AI or ML features into mobile applications

  • Familiarity with camera systems and real-time sensor data

  • Low-level optimization experience for mobile performance
