Role Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solution Architect with deep expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies to lead the modernization of our legacy system.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and related tools.
  • This role will involve analyzing the current legacy solution, identifying areas for improvement, and designing a scalable, secure, and efficient Oracle Cloud-based architecture to meet the organization's needs.

Required Skills:

Assessment and Analysis:Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the existing legacy systems, including their inputs, outputs, dependencies, and lifecycle status.
Identify technical bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and areas for optimization, with a focus on Oracle Cloud solutions.
Solution Design:
  • Develop a high-level architecture for migrating legacy systems to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Design microservices-based solutions leveraging Oracle PaaS, ensuring scalability, modularity, and maintainability.
  • Utilize Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to streamline data integration and process automation across systems.
  • Incorporate Oracle Cloud-native services such as Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Kubernetes Engine, and Oracle API Gateway into the architecture.
  • Define and implement a migration strategy to Oracle Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Leverage Oracle Cloud tools for data migration, security, and monitoring, such as Oracle Data Integration and Oracle Cloud Guard.
  • Implement security measures to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards, leveraging Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Corporate Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Project Management:
  • Develop a roadmap for the modernization project, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute the migration and modernization plan using Oracle Cloud tools and methodologies.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Oracle Cloud-native services, including Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle API Gateway, and Oracle Data Integration.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems, including Oracle Database and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with API design and integration using Oracle API Management tools.
  • Understanding of security best practices for Oracle Cloud environments, including Oracle IAM and Oracle Cloud Guard.
Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, and development.
  • Proven track record of modernizing legacy systems and migrating them to Oracle Cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle PaaS, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Oracle Kubernetes Engine), and serverless computing.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Education: Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
