Job Details
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of software engineering initiatives. The role requires strong project management expertise, the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of project management experience managing software development projects.
- Proven success managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Project Management certification (PMP, CSM, or equivalent)
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with modern software engineering practices such as DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based development.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing distributed or offshore engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for software engineering initiatives, from initiation to delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, QA, and business stakeholders to define requirements and priorities.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery timelines.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and project status updates.
- Track progress, report project health to leadership, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Support Agile delivery models, promoting best practices across teams.
Deliverables

- Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members
- Participate as primary, co, and/or contributing author on all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility
- Participate in data conversion and data maintenance
- Provide best practices and industry-specific solutions
- Advise on and provide alternative (out-of-the-box) solutions
- Provide thought leadership as well as hands-on technical configuration/development as needed.
- Participate as a team member of the functional team
- Perform other duties as assigned.
