Job Details

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer for a long-term opportunity in Austin, TX. This will be REMOTE but MUST reside in Texas. Work involves updating and migrating a 20-year-old legacy system from a mainframe environment to a more robust PeopleSoft-based solution. Will assist in the design and development of PeopleSoft application based on business requirements. Experience with developing bolt-on solutions for PeopleSoft needed. Responsible for understanding requirements, designing, developing, testing, and implementing new and custom modules. Requires a thorough understanding and hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Finance version 9.2 and PeopleTools. Will augment PeopleSoft technical and functional team. Currently using PeopleSoft FSCM v9.2 as its Financial system. Using the following modules: Asset Management, Billing, Contracts, ePro, GL, Inventory, Payables, Purchasing, Receivables, Strategic Sourcing, and Commitment Control. Using an Oracle database and AIX servers. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 yrs. Experience implementing/upgrading/maintaining PeopleSoft ERP systems
  • 5 yrs. Technical support to implement, upgrade or maintain PeopleSoft Finance version 9.2 and PeopleTools version 8.57 or above, including Application, Data Mover Scripts Engine, Component Interface, Unix, BI Publisher, Events and Notifications, and SQR
  • 5 yrs. Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities
  • 4 yrs. Implementing/upgrading or maintaining a State of Texas PeopleSoft Finance system: Workforce Reporting, Accounting, and Procurement System (WRAPS) at the Texas Workforce Commission, or Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) at the Comptroller of Public Accounts
  • 2 yrs. Strong technical writing skills
  • 2 yrs. Experience collecting technical requirements and designing appropriate software solutions
  • Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels

Preferred:

  • Experience creating, maintaining and updating system and configuration specific documentation like Environment Diagrams, Security, and Integration Mappings
