Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP AI Developer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions within the SAP ecosystem. The role focuses on building intelligent applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, and SAP Joule, integrated with core SAP applications such as S/4HANA and ERP.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python-based AI development expertise, hands-on experience with SAP AI frameworks, and a solid understanding of RAG architectures and MCP-enabled integrations, supporting enterprise use cases across finance, procurement, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI-driven applications using SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, and SAP Joule on SAP BTP.
  • Build and integrate Generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs with enterprise SAP data context.
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and MCP-enabled AI services.
  • Develop Python-based backend services for AI orchestration, inference, and SAP integration.
  • Deploy, monitor, and manage AI models following SAP AI lifecycle governance and responsible AI practices.
  • Integrate AI solutions with SAP business processes including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report.
  • Utilize SAP BTP services such as Integration Suite, Datasphere, and HANA Cloud.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional, data, and business teams to identify and deliver AI use cases.
  • Implement CI/CD, MLOps, and DevOps practices for scalable AI deployments.
  • Support AI solution architecture, feasibility analysis, and innovation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development with strong exposure to SAP BTP and SAP AI services.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, and SAP Joule.
  • Strong Python programming experience.
  • Proven experience implementing Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with RAG architectures and AI orchestration using MCP or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of ML model lifecycle management (training, deployment, monitoring).
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with SAP systems via APIs.
  • Understanding of SAP data models and enterprise business processes.
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI governance, and ethical AI practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement modules).
  • Familiarity with SAP CAP / RAP and extensibility patterns on SAP BTP.
  • Exposure to SAP Integration Suite and enterprise integration architecture.
  • Experience building agent-based AI applications using SAP Joule.
  • Background in enterprise process automation using AI.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
