Network Security Engineer

Job Description Our client, a leader in the community banking industry, is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their team to help maintain a secure network infrastructure.

They are looking for a Network Security Engineer that can deploy and manage network equipment, firewalls (must be enterprise experience; Cisco FirePower preferred but Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Checkpoint apply as well), and intrusion systems. Familiarity with some of the advanced features of next generation firewalls such as IPS, URL Filtering and policy routing. Will need experience with Microsoft Office and Cisco platforms. Minimum of 3 years network or systems administration experience, cisco security or NGFW, NAC, or Load Balancing required. Financial Services or banking industry experience preferred.

The office is in the Woodlands, TX, however this person can sit anywhere where they have a presence. Full-time, $120-135k annually.
Required Skills & Experience

• Experience deploying and managing network equipment and firewalls in an enterprise environment
• Firewalls: Cisco Firepower preferred, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Checkpoint apply as well.
• Knowlege of next generation firewalls features such as IPS, URL, filtering, and policy routing.
• Microsoft Office
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a network or systems administrator
• Cisco Security experience or NGFW, NAC and Load balancing.
• Financial Services, or banking industry experience is preferred.
