Job Title: SDET Automation Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design, develop, and prototype Android and iOS customer applications for both internal and external use. You will be responsible for developing automation scripts and performing testing and releases to app stores. This role requires a senior Android developer with expertise in Android native test automation solutions using Kotlin, as well as for the iOS platform. You will work closely with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates, while staying informed on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms. Your contributions will drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools. Additionally, you will write and maintain documentation for all features in development.

The pay range for this position is $65.06 - $65.06/hr.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and prototype Android and iOS applications for phones and tablets.
- Develop automation scripts and perform testing and releases to app stores.
- Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates.
- Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.
- Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools.
- Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
- Collaborate with the design team to define app features.
- Ensure quality and performance of applications to specifications.
- Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks.
- Fix application bugs before final release.
- Publish applications on the App Store.
- Maintain the code and automation of the application.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience hands on basic coding in Java
- Strong Automation experience
- Experience in mobile test automation with Appium for Android and iOS platforms.
- Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket
- Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.

- Experience with continuous integration and unit tests.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
