The API Office also provides consultation and guidance to solution teams, engaging proactively with application development teams, road mapping, reporting, and managing new capabilities for the API gateway and event-driven architecture platforms.

We are seeking a passionate IT Business Analyst to join the API Office team. In this role, you will support critical responsibilities such as work coordination, product administration/reporting, and serving as the team Scrum Master. You will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to manage incoming requests, plan architecture sessions, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and champion Agile best practices. Additionally, you will manage license usage, maintain team documentation, and deliver reports and dashboards. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact across multiple solution areas and grow your visibility within the IT organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate meetings, organize team events, administer products, and perform administrative tasks as needed.
  • Triage, prioritize, assign, and manage incoming work requests to completion.
  • Plan and schedule architecture working sessions, including developing agendas and inviting appropriate participants.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Refinement, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile principles and Scrum best practices, driving continuous improvement and removing blockers.
  • Update and organize team documentation, ensuring accuracy, conciseness, and completeness.
  • Compile data, deliver reports, and create dashboards to support data-driven decisions and analytics.
  • Manage and optimize license usage and access for team-managed tools.
  • Evaluate technical requests to determine feasibility and identify options that best serve technical needs.

Qualifications:
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or the immediate surrounding area.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in information technology, preferably supporting a large organization.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to track multiple initiatives and tasks.
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology and workflow management tools.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and structured walkthroughs.
  • Ability to triage and prioritize work requests in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Scrum Master and Agile Coaching experience.
  • Experience managing JIRA-based Agile teams and SharePoint customer knowledgebase sites.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • General understanding of API concepts, including REST, event-driven architecture, integration patterns, and lifecycle management.
