Overview
We are representing a rapidly growing leader in the fire and life safety industry that is seeking a highly motivated Fire Life Safety Construction Sales Executive in the Houston market. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to drive revenue growth by promoting and selling complex Fire Alarm Systems to general and electrical contractors, as well as end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies focused on fire alarm systems with a value of $500K and above.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with prospects, general contractors, electrical contractors, and end users.
  • Qualify opportunities and generate leads through sales calls, networking, marketing follow-up, and industry events.
  • Present product solutions through proposals, presentations, and financial justifications.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery and service satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate territory records and sales forecasting metrics.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and customer events to grow brand awareness and pipeline.
  • Manage existing accounts and ensure ongoing customer engagement and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in complex Fire Alarm Systems (>$500K project size).
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction sales.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • High self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with relevant licensing and code requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Simplex fire alarm systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft/Oracle software tools.
