Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using DataStage and DBT for data transformation.
  • Write optimized SQL queries for data modelling, transformation, and validation.
  • Work with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse for data integration and performance tuning.
  • Support data transformation and analytics workloads leveraging SAS for statistical and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and governance.
  • Implement best practices for ETL performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for ETL jobs and data quality issues.
  • Good to have: experience in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an ETL / Data Engineer in large-scale data environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in IBM DataStage for ETL development.
  • Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for SQL-centric data transformations.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data modelling, queries, and performance tuning.
  • Working knowledge of Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
  • Experience with SAS for statistical analysis, reporting, or data processing.
  • Familiarity with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
