Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in Oracle Metasolv M6 development and support, 5+ years in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices, and a solid understanding of telecom inventory and order management systems. Experience in troubleshooting, task flow verification, server monitoring, and log analysis is also required.

Position Description: We seek a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Metasolv M6 Architect to join our client's team. This role will focus on enhancing existing systems, developing new components and APIs, and providing critical production support for Oracle Metasolv M6-based systems. The successful candidate will have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and telecom domain knowledge, particularly in inventory and order management systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, optimization, automation, and leading production support efforts for complex telecom workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to enhance existing systems and develop new components, APIs, and service integrations.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify optimization areas, and ensure adherence to best practices in clean and scalable Java code.
  • Perform end-to-end analysis of service requests, identifying root causes and providing timely resolutions.
  • Develop and enhance M6 workflows, scripts, and system integrations based on client requirements.
  • Investigate task fallouts, identify root causes, document, and share workarounds with operations teams for queue monitoring.
  • Drive automation of known workarounds and perform RCA for permanent fixes.
  • Manage and troubleshoot production support issues related to task flows, background servers, logs, and database errors.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and post-deployment support.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively suggest improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure documentation of support procedures, issue resolutions, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in release planning, impact assessments, and quality assurance testing.
  • Provide on-call support for critical incidents as part of a rotation schedule.

Language skills (must have):

English Native or bilingual proficiency

Experience required:-

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Metasolv M6 development and production support.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development, with strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of telecom inventory and order management systems, with proven experience in troubleshooting, task flow verification, background server monitoring, and application log analysis.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and developing integrations between M6 and external systems using RESTful APIs or middleware tools.
  • Strong knowledge of task flows, background servers, log analysis, and M6 architecture.
  • Strong understanding of the telecom domain (Inventory Management, Service Provisioning, Order Management).
  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux scripting for backend support and automation.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic, Oracle DB, and middleware components used with M6.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
  • The candidate must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation for critical incidents and provide post-deployment support.
