Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Windchill PLM Data Migration Consultant to lead and execute complex data migration projects. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience in the Windchill environment, a deep understanding of data migration methodologies, and strong expertise in PLM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in large-scale data migration projects in Windchill PLM environments.
- Execute migrations from non-PLM systems to Windchill, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Leverage knowledge of Windchill data models, workflows, lifecycles, and configurations for successful migrations.
- Utilize Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) and other migration tools for seamless data transfers.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation using industry best practices.
- Automate migration tasks using scripting languages and develop custom utilities when needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, IT, and business domains.
- Apply CAD data and engineering document management knowledge in migration activities.
- Support site consolidation activities and use appropriate tools for multi-site Windchill environments.
- Ensure all activities are compliant with organizational and system documentation standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in data migration
- In-depth understanding of the Windchill PLM domain, including structure and configurations.
- Proven experience migrating data from non-PLM to Windchill systems.
- Proficient in using WBM, Windchill migration tools, and site consolidation utilities.
- Experience with CAD data handling, engineering documentation systems, and PLM integrations.
- Strong scripting abilities for automation of migration processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications in PLM or data migration are a plus.
