Job Description:

Join our Data Center Engineering Operations team as a Facilities Technician II and help maintain critical infrastructure in one of the world's most advanced data centers. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with mechanical or electrical backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow in a high-tech environment.
Location & Schedule
  • Worksite: Dallas/Fort Worth Area
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (Onsite)
  • Contract: 6 months with potential extension or conversion
  • Pay Rate: $22-$24/hr
What You'll Do
  • Assist with HVAC maintenance and repair, fire protection systems, and pneumatic systems
  • Support rack installation and power cooling tasks (non-live power work)
  • Perform preventative maintenance routines and maintain accurate documentation
  • Help with signage and safety measures throughout the data center
  • Maintain and repair material handling equipment and conveyor systems
  • Participate in metal and wood fabrication, including welding
  • Track and manage inventory of spare parts and tools
  • Promote safety-first practices and maintain a clean, organized workspace
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 1-2 years in facilities maintenance or related field (schooling experience counts!)
  • Education: Vocational or college degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Technical Skills:
    • HVAC systems
    • Electrical and mechanical fundamentals
    • Blueprint and schematic reading
    • Automated conveyor systems
    • Fabrication and welding (a plus)
  • Certifications: EPA HVAC certification is a plus, not required
  • Traits: High energy, safety-conscious, eager to learn and grow
Training & Growth

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Comfortable with bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
