Client Location: Phoenix, AZ

****Work hours - AZ time hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees projects with cross-system dependencies.
Develops and implements project timelines and execution strategies, coordinating with functional leads for resource allocation.
Utilizes project management tools like Smartsheet and Roadmunk.
Ensures project completion and adheres to predetermined schedules.
Formulates and executes risk management strategies to address, prevent, or minimize potential issues.
Designs and implements project communication strategies.
Assesses and provides recommendations on change requests.
Oversees detailed project financials, utilizing tools such as Clarity PPM to maintain cost baselines.
Conducts project meetings and liaises between project teams, sponsors, and functional managers.
Independently drives outcomes with minimal oversight.
Executes additional tasks as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Comprehensive knowledge of Agile, Predictive, and Hybrid Methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
PMI-PMP or PMI-ACP certification preferred
Proven track record of effective collaboration with diverse business and IT teams in a team-centric environment
Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating active listening, adaptability, collaboration, and emotional intelligence.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years of IT project management experience
Proficiency in project management methodologies and systems development practices
3+ years of IT experience in roles such as Software Developer, Database Administrator, Business Analyst, or similar positions.
