POSITION SUMMARY:
The Network Engineering role is responsible for the delivery of IT solutions supporting the company data centers. Responsibilities include delivering stable network solutions, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Network Engineer will work closely with other IT professionals, company decision makers, and vendors to provide information technology solutions to benefit the business and ensure customer satisfaction.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work independently on data center and cloud network implementations from system requirements gathering through implementation and service support transition
Perform network operation tasks: patching network infrastructure (Arista, Checkpoint, F5, etc), data circuit orders, performance monitoring, logical and physical network changes and testing.
Automate common and complex tasks to improve efficiency and eliminate human error.
Document newly implemented or existing systems according to quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Identify and address technical or operational risks and inefficiencies with IT systems
Develop and maintain documentation for operational best practices and systems maintenance
Collaborate with project managers in development of detailed project plans
Develop and execute support transition plan for system implementations
Provide assistance for issues escalated from downstream support teams
Manage policies for firewalls, WAF, load balancers, and NSGs
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum level of education/experience required.
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years in Information Technology
Prefer certification with a major network technology platform such as Arista, Azure, Cisco, Checkpoint, or Palo Alto.
Maintains working understanding of technology across many disciplines
Working knowledge of SOX and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements
Firm understanding of IT best practices and frameworks such as ITIL
Experience using tools for change management
Experience producing technical documentation including functional requirements, design specifications, work instructions, and installation qualifications
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
Technical areas of expertise should include and not be limited to the following:
o Data Center network architectures and platforms including Arista and Azure.
o SDWAN architectures and platforms
o Networking in virtual networks such as Vmware
o Networking in cloud networks such as Azure and AWS
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
Extreme autonomy.
Merit based increase of up to 3% annually.
Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually.
401k match 100% up to 5%.

- Strong foundational knowledge of Azure networking and on-prem network architecture
- Hands-on experience with CloudVision Portal (CVP) for network automation and telemetry
- Serves as a liaison between internal teams and service providers to coordinate and implement network solutions
- Exposure to Arista Networks hardware and protocol management
- Familiar with Firewall Policy Management and WAF (Web Application Firewall) tools
- Working knowledge of F5 Load Balancers, VIP configuration, and traffic management
- Participates in Change Control Processes including testing, documentation, and production deployment
- Basic proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
