Veeva CRM Technical Lead/Consultant
FTE (Preferred) / Contract

We are seeking an experienced Veeva CRM Technical Lead/Consultant with a strong background in Salesforce and Life Sciences domain to support and drive our Veeva CRM initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Veeva CRM configuration, support and integration, and cross-functional collaboration, especially in commercial and medical business processes. Prior experience working with global stakeholders and external vendors will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end configuration, implementation, and support of Veeva CRM applications tailored to the needs of life sciences clients
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions across Veeva CRM and Veeva Align platforms
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and drive system optimization efforts for enhanced user experience and performance
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including Medical Affairs, Commercial, Sales, and IT teams to ensure alignment with business goals
- Configure and manage Veeva Align functionalities such as roster management, territory alignment, and downstream data integration
- Participate in CRM transformation initiatives, contributing to planning, execution, testing, and delivery of high-impact projects
- Oversee integration efforts between Veeva CRM and third-party systems such as Salesforce Service Cloud, Veeva Vault, and MDM platforms
- Ensure that all implementations comply with regulatory standards including GxP and 21 CFR Part 11
- Create and maintain technical documentation, conduct user training, and support system adoption across commercial teams
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for onsite activities and collaborate with offshore delivery teams for seamless project execution
Skills & Experience
- 10 to 12 years of overall experience; Minimum 5+ years working with Veeva CRM
- 2+ years of experience with Veeva Align; At least 3+ years of experience in Life Sciences Commercial domain
- Veeva CRM configuration and implementation experience in Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical domain
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Align (roster management, territory alignment, integration)
- Strong understanding of Life Sciences Commercial Operations
- Experience with Salesforce platform, especially in relation to Veeva
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions, project planning, and client interactions onsite
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks: GxP, 21 CFR Part 11"
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Bio / Pharma / Computer Science / IT / Engineering, or a related technical field
- Additional certifications in Salesforce, Veeva CRM/Align are highly preferred
Secondary Skills/(Good to have)
- Veeva CRM and Veeva Align certifications; Exposure to Veeva Network, Veeva Medical CRM, or Events Management
- Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud customization and API integration; Understanding of data models in Veeva Vault
- Experience working in Agile delivery models and hybrid onsite-offshore teams
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Client-facing confidence and leadership presence for onsite delivery
- Proactive attitude toward solving and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
