Job Title: Senior Applications Developer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ Months

Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Applications Developer to support the migration of existing applications from legacy infrastructure to modern on-prem or cloud environments (Azure).

The ideal candidate will have strong experience migrating legacy .NET applications to modern frameworks, proficiency with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to interact with customers in a professional and service-oriented manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate existing applications from legacy infrastructure to modern frameworks and Azure environments.

  • Upgrade .NET frameworks for supported systems.

  • Maintain and enhance existing web applications.

  • Develop new applications and solutions.

  • Troubleshoot user issues and resolve system problems.

  • Work with build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps.

  • Participate in on-call support for production issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors, integration specialists, IT security staff, project managers, subject matter experts, and executive stakeholders.

  • Act as a technical project lead on assigned initiatives.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including evaluating alternatives and recommending solutions.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC principles and best practices.

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and system manuals.

  • Knowledge of operating systems, platforms, database management systems, programming languages, and related controls.

Preferred Experience

  • Azure (Cloud Services & Infrastructure)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining web applications using C# .NET, SQL Server, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and IIS.
