Job Title: Application Delivery Director
Location: Katy, TX

Job Description:
- Client is seeking an experienced Application Delivery Director to lead the delivery and management of critical retail technology systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Retail Management Systems (RMS), Point of Sale (POS), and other retail applications.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail technology, a proven track record in application delivery, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system implementations and optimizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of retail technology applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, analysts, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with IT, Operations, Merchandising, and Store Teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure smooth deployments.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations for WMS, RMS, POS, and other retail systems.
- Drive continuous improvement in application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with retail industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project risks, resolve issues, and provide executive-level updates on delivery status.
- Optimize retail technology workflows to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in retail technology, with expertise in WMS, RMS, POS, and related systems.
- 5+ years in leadership roles (Director, Senior Manager, or similar) overseeing large-scale application delivery.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain, and omnichannel technology.
- Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar IT projects in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
