job summary:

We're seeking a Senior IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst with advanced, in-depth technical knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) to design, build, test, and deploy high-quality solutions that drive operational excellence. In this role, you'll translate complex business requirements into scalable solution designs, while collaborating across teams to ensure performance, security, and integration with critical business systems.



What Your Day Would Be Like:



You are responsible for:




  • Designing, building, testing, and deploying solutions within Oracle CC&B and related Oracle Utility products.


  • Translating business requirements into robust, high-quality solution designs.


  • Leveraging deep CC&B expertise, including:


  • Strong knowledge of the Meter-to-Cash lifecycle.


  • Extensive knowledge of all CC&B modules and the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).


  • Hands-on experience with CC&B schema and writing complex queries for data analysis.


  • Leading and supporting integrations with edge systems, such as utility websites, MDM (Meter Data Management), AMI, IVR, and payment channels.


  • Partnering with Business Analysts, project leads, and IT teams to resolve issues and ensure consistent, scalable solutions.


  • Troubleshooting and optimizing systems to deliver reliability and high performance.


  • Acting as a technical expert, contributing to architecture decisions, modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.



What You Bring:




  • Proven experience delivering solutions in Oracle CC&B at an enterprise scale.


  • Strong understanding of OUAF, Meter-to-Cash lifecycle, and CC&B modules.


  • Advanced data analysis skills, including query writing against CC&B schema.


  • Experience integrating CC&B with enterprise and customer-facing systems.


  • Ability to work across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments with a focus on scalability, security, and sustainability.


  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner with both business and technical teams.



Minimum Requirements



IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst Senior - Oracle CC&B




  • Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field


  • AND seven (7) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.


  • Requires advanced in-depth level of technical knowledge within a job area and working knowledge of other technical areas



Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications




  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages, database management systems and development platforms. Ability to understand and explain the most technical issues and solutions in non-technical terms.


  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and teams in different fields across a diverse organization.


  • Experience in design, development, coding, and testing of business/commercial applications using ASP.Net, C#, Multi-Threading, ADO.Net, XML, XSD, and Web Services


  • Experience in end-to-end SDLC, including configuration management using tools like Microsoft Team foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps.

2) Researches and suggests new technologies to improve application performance



3) Provides technical expertise in developing architectural frameworks



4) Provides architectural support for application development, enhancement configuration, and migration



5) Maintains documentation for system architecture for reference purposes



6) Designs and develops new integrations as required



7) Serves as a recognized engineering expert and defines solution requirements based on industry trends and new technologies



8) Identifies, creates and tests prototypes and innovative systems related to solution engineering through internal knowledge, experience, and market insights
