Job Title: ETL Administrator
Location: Pittsburgh, PA; Dallas, TX; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: W2; Hybrid
Job Summary:
We are seeking an ETL Administrator to join our team of System Administrators supporting critical applications and infrastructure. This role involves direct collaboration with multiple IT teams and requires a strong understanding of infrastructure, ETL technologies, and system administration best practices. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and communicates effectively across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Informatica software components across multiple environments.
- Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and manage platform lifecycle.
- Configure LDAP authentication and enforce security policies (user/group roles, file system permissions).
- Provide platform support including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Support development teams (onshore and offshore) and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution.
- Collaborate with project teams to align solutions with enterprise architecture and ETL standards.
- Develop and maintain platform documentation and operational procedures.
- Monitor ETL job performance and optimize for efficiency on Linux platforms.
- Ensure compliance with Disaster Recovery (DR) objectives including RTO and RPO targets.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams (network, server, database, security) for integrated support.
Required Technical Skills (6–8 Years):
- Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS) – Cloud Data Integration
- Informatica PowerCenter
- Informatica PowerExchange (z/OS VSAM and CDC AS/400)
- RedHat Linux
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced PowerCenter features: OS Profiles, High Availability/Grid, diverse source/target systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, AS400, Mainframe, etc.)
- Informatica automation tools: pmrep, pmcmd, infacmd, IDMC API
- Informatica Test Data Management and Data Processor Transformation
- Network Attached Storage (NAS)
- Enterprise scheduling tools (e.g., CA7)
- ServiceNow for incident/change management
- Automated deployment tools (uDeploy, Artifactory)
- Network Data Mover (NDM) / Connect:Direct (C:D)
Soft Skills:
