Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Administrator/Developer with strong hands-on experience in CICS programming and integration with external applications (Java, DB2, MQ). The ideal candidate should be an individual contributor with excellent problem-solving skills and experience in high-performance mainframe environments.

Must Have Skills:

  • Cobol

  • CICS (Hands-on required)

  • DB2

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Mainframe Modernization

  • MQ

Detailed Job Description:

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 6+ years in Mainframe (Cobol, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM).

  • Strong experience with CICS programs that connect to other applications like Java and DB2.

  • Experience developing DB2 stored procedures, Native SPs, and SQL.

  • Exposure to MQ and integration architecture.

  • Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform impact analysis, design, and estimation.

  2. Handle client-facing responsibilities and requirement discussions.

  3. Provide deployment and post-production support.
