Job Details
Job Summary:
- Provide hands-on technical operational support for laboratory-based systems to ensure efficient scientific workflows.
- Build, configure, and validate lab IT systems and scientific instruments, ensuring integration with LIMS, ELN, CDS, and imaging systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Science, Facilities, Quality, IT) to implement and support new lab technologies and infrastructure.
- Develop basic scripts or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to optimize lab workflows, automate data transfers, and improve reporting.
- Participate in validation and qualification processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) for lab systems, adhering to GxP and internal compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate system documentation and inventory (CMDB), and coordinate with vendors to evaluate and implement new lab solutions.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and reconnect laboratory systems and instruments in real-time, providing direct, in-lab technical support to scientists.
- Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement and digital innovation within the laboratory environment.
- Work specifically within regulated lab environments (including clean rooms), providing IT support for lab equipment rather than general deskside support.
