Job Description: Data Scientist Identity Focus (Remote)
Data Scientist with Identity focus dedicated to analyzing data related to fraud as a result of identity verification and validation challenges. This individual will support our existing team with the following requirements:
3+ years of experience as a data engineer / data analyst
3+ years architecting and engineering Machine Learning/AI based solutions to large scale enterprise problems solving anomaly detection, entity behavior evaluation and prediction, and data quality improvement
Experience with data platforms and analytics tools (specifically Databricks and Zingg)
Experience with NoSQL, R, or Python and Spark
Experience with advanced data modeling and how to make that data usable for meeting mission requirements (including entity resolution)
Experience implementing of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) technologies
Experience in working with highly structured data
Experience with data visualization packages
Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple functional groups
Seeking an individual whose qualifications and/or expertise are exceptional and/or highly specialized or unique; and are typically identified as recognized industry leaders: and typically initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; and provides strategic and expert advice and technical guidance, to program and project staff.
This individual also provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues; and consults with client to define needs or challenges; while also supervising studies: leading surveys and performing data collection for analyses used to advise and recommend/suggest solutions.
A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years relevant experience.
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.
Typically performs all functional duties independently.
Note: Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis.
Additional Provisions:
Pass a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
Once candidate s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance; therefore, U.S. citizenship may be required based on federal agency eligibility standards.
In accordance with U.S. government background investigation guidelines for Public Trust positions, candidates should have resided within the United States for at least the past five years. Extended travel or residence outside the United States totaling more than six months during the past five years (excluding official military service) may affect background investigation eligibility.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.) All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
