DESCRIPTION:

INADEV is seeking an IT Business Analyst/Project Coordinator to support a program which provides services to local and state governments as the prime vendor. The Project Coordinator will provide project delivery, governance, and coordination services for the development and maintenance of various Information Technology (IT) solutions.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Establish and prioritize product backlog in partnership with the Project Owner and teams, document the sprint/release plans and define success criteria.
  • Consult with clients technology teams to determine the scope and project requirements and then work with project teams to develop SOW, identify deliverables, and determine resources and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for a flawless execution of projects and programs.
  • Regular interaction with Senior Management to discuss Project/ Program updates.
  • Support ongoing Production Support and Customer Service.
  • Support business development activities as needed.
  • Plan, facilitate and conduct requirements gathering workshops as well as technical requirements and design reviews with business users and subject matter experts.
  • Work collaboratively with Business and Development teams to ensure requirements are fully understood by all parties.
  • Support the Scrum Master / Program Manager in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint review, retros), internal and external stakeholder management etc.
  • Follow Agile processes and run Scrum ceremonies, including managing and facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, mid-sprint reviews, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
  • Create and maintain documents including business process workflows, functional specifications, low fidelity wireframes, test plans, test cases, traceability matrices etc.
  • Creates and distributes project status regularly for various stakeholder groups.
  • Strong project work and project planning experience and previous experience in a full development life cycle. Present project summaries and roadmaps to the leadership team.
  • Creates and manages realistic project timelines, milestones, and Sprint plans.
  • Ensure that key project deliverables are created and approved.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Builds strong relationships with business sponsors and stakeholders, and establishes communication and governance protocols for each project.

NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to work from our office in Mc Lean, VA and travel to client offices in the DMV area as required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent time management skills and working within aggressive delivery schedules.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a Bachelor s Degree and 3-5 years of IT Business Analyst/Project Coordinator experience.
  • Must understand modern mobile and web applications hosted on the public cloud.
  • Must possess strong knowledge of Software Development Agile Frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must possess the ability to work with Client/Customer and Offshore Delivery teams.
  • Experience delivering initiatives from conception through execution
  • Proven ability to effectively coordinate and influence across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Excellent organizational skills with critical attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the principal methods, procedures, and techniques of gathering information and producing, reporting, and sharing information
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
