Project Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer. This role involves ensuring quality assurance and quality control processes are completed from a controls standpoint. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning, operations, and technical expertise in PLC and SCADA systems, particularly with Schneider Electric and Ignition projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform QA/QC checks on various controls and testing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Utilize expertise in PLC and SCADA systems, with a strong preference for Schneider Electric and Ignition projects.
  • Ensure that products meet all site requirements by conducting independent and operational functional checks in collaboration with the E&C group.
  • Establish procedures and take over the implementation and oversight of these procedures.
  • Conduct customer acceptance testing to ensure products meet site requirements.
  • Perform independent and operational functional checks in collaboration with the E&C group.
  • Establish and oversee QA/QC procedures in collaboration with Carlos.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in controls engineering, commissioning, and operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC and SCADA systems, with a strong preference for Schneider Electric and Ignition projects.
  • Preferably based in the office, with training and onboarding conducted in-office.
  • Limited travel required, primarily to the office once a month.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Ignition projects is preferred, though not required to perform technical tasks.
  • Strong preference for experience with Schneider PLC systems.
  • Background in commissioning and operations is highly desirable.
  • Power Generation Experience: Experience in power generation or heavy industrial sectors, such as refinery work, is highly preferred.
