Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Help Desk Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will provide critical technical assistance to ensure the seamless operation of healthcare applications and systems. Your expertise will play a vital role in resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and address hardware, software, and network problems within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Deliver technical support for healthcare-specific applications, including electronic medical records (EMR) and Health Information Exchange systems.
Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to resolve escalated technical issues effectively.
Guide and assist end-users in utilizing healthcare software to optimize workflow and productivity.
Document customer interactions and resolutions comprehensively within the ticketing system.
Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and the implementation of new healthcare technologies.
Ensure all IT operations comply with healthcare regulatory standards and protocols.
Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent service disruptions.
Provide support for basic troubleshooting of hardware, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
Requirements
A minimum of 2-4 years of IT Help Desk or Technical Support experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Familiarity with healthcare applications such as electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Health Information Exchange platforms.
Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic network troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance standards and protocols.
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
Effective communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical users.
Organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or healthcare IT-related credentials are highly desirable.
