Tester

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Tester for our client in the Federal Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Primary Skills: Testing

Role Description: The Tester must have at least 4 years of test execution experience. For this role, you must be an experienced tester who have the following experiences:

- At least 4 years of test execution experience

- At least 3 years of test case design - and experience evaluating test cases for coverage and gaps

- At least 1 year of experience updating burndown charts, status reports, or general familiarity with tracking whether we are on or off track

- Applied hands-on experience writing SQL queries to review database updates to test both backend and frontend

- Applied experience reviewing design specifications to evaluate defect v enhancement

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to bring together and collaborate with Developers and Designers to drive questions to closure (defect disposition, next steps)

- Interest in learning more, seeking someone with a growth mindset who is passionate about delivering the right solution

- Not afraid to start, stop, pivot, retry, and continuously change approaches until we get there

Project is part of a 5 year engagement and has the ability to support growth and promotions. Seeking teammates who want to join the community and grow on the account.

Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
