Role: Senior Technical Project Coordinator
Start Date: October 13th
Duration: 6 months with possible extensions
Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid) - 2+ days onsite
Rate: C2C all inc.

DESCRIPTION:
Client is looking for a Senior Technology Project Coordinator to work within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) in the Plans and Programs Office (PMO.) This is a 6-months contract role with a potential for extension.
The Senior Technical Project Coordinator assists in the completion of projects designed to support strategic initiatives and technology projects. This position will be responsible for delivery of small project/programs and assisting with District-wide projects and programs. The Senior Tech Project Coordinator will streamline and improve projects/programs and be involved in the communication and reporting to support the office. They will also handle the various technical aspects of a project, refine project plans and timelines, identify constraints or challenges, and at times, may work in tandem (or assist) the Project Managers assigned to a technical and/or strategic project. This position utilizes a strong background in facilitation skills for large and small groups, relationship management, and an understanding of effective practices in large-scale project/program management.

STATEMENT OF WORK:
Background and understanding in the practice, policy for business or educational or state organizations.
Working knowledge of culturally competent practices.
This role demands strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of technical systems and the project lifecycle, often with experience in relevant methodologies like Agile.
Skills in: Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and Adobe Acrobat.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Scheduling, analyzing, notetaking, reporting, and presenting.
Demonstrated ability to work in diverse teams to facilitate meetings and events in a collaborative process for staff, students, families, and the community.
Ability to serve as a liaison with technical teams, understanding technical aspects of projects to support effective decision-making and project delivery.
Able to maintain appropriate discretion, tact and confidentiality when dealing with potentially sensitive information.
Attend/facilitate meetings and training.
Other related duties/activities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a project management or project coordination.
Five (5) years desired; and a Bachelor's degree in education, business, technology, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years experience in facilitating meetings for diverse groups in-person and on Teams or another web-based platform.
One year experience working in an educational or similar environment is highly desired.

HIGHLY DESIRED CERTIFICATION:
Project Management Institute (PMI), Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. ITIL Foundation 4 certification is a plus.
