Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect (CTA) with specialized expertise in Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow architectures aligned with organizational HR and digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
- Design and implement HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions, including Employee Center, Case & Knowledge Management, Lifecycle Events, and HR integrations
- Define technical roadmaps, platform strategies, and future-state architectures
Implementation & Delivery
- Guide multiple ServiceNow implementations and upgrades across complex, multi-instance environments
- Oversee solution design for integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, LDAP, SSO, third-party HR systems)
- Ensure performance, scalability, security, and compliance across all implementations
Governance & Best Practices
- Establish and enforce ServiceNow development standards, governance models, and SDLC practices
- Conduct technical design reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities
- Lead platform optimization, technical debt reduction, and instance health initiatives
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with HR leadership, enterprise architects, product owners, and vendors to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Provide thought leadership and advisory services to executive stakeholders
- Mentor developers, technical leads, and junior architects
Leadership & Enablement
- Act as the overall technical authority for ServiceNow HRSD solutions
- Support pre-sales activities, technical assessments, and solution estimations when required
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and roadmap updates
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Deep expertise in:
- Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Script Includes, Business Rules
- CMDB, Security, Performance Analytics
- UI Builder, Employee Center Pro
- Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide API)
Experience
- 15+ years of IT experience with 10+ years in ServiceNow
- Proven experience leading large-scale, enterprise ServiceNow implementations
- Experience working in complex, global HR environments
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to influence architecture decisions at executive level
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional ServiceNow CIS or CSA certifications
- Experience with HR platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM
- Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments
