Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Conventional Trust team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to impact our organization in the following ways:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Java Spring Framework and Angular.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Mentor and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our technology platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to technology and risk management.
  • Support the integration of AI and emerging technologies to enhance client and employee experiences.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment aligned with our company culture and values.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-9 years of experience in full stack software development required.
  • Proven experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot for building micro services and RESTful APIs
  • Any work experience with python scripting is an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Angular (including modern versions), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience in Agile methodology including CI/CD, application resiliency and security, as well as developmental toolsets including GITLab, Junit, SonarQube, Splunk
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
